Every production begins as a lived emotion
Dr. Kaur’s productions reflect thoughts and emotions she has lived through as a human being and as a woman — her own, and those of her kith and kin. Each is an independent work, conceptualised and directed to bring one truth to the fore. After every performance she speaks with the audience, building a bridge between their minds and what they have just witnessed.

A performer, curator and director for more than twenty years, Dr. Kaur leaves her mark across three Indian classical dance forms with great finesse. “I meet God when I dance,” she says — and most of her performances are dedicated to the divine figures of the Bharat tradition.
